Editorial block is a simple block with an mainbody area where you can add text, images and links. Editorial block is especially useful with pages without mainbody area, but you can also use it with pages that have an mainbody area. For instance, you might want to categorize your content to diffrent editorial blocks instead of putting all content directly to the page mainbody or if you are using the content in multiple pages it's better to create a block and then add the block to each page.
